In pursuance of approval of the Government of Assam vide letter No. E -837098/34 dated
Dispur the 26th August, 2026, applications are hereby invited from Indian Citizens as defined under
Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India, for filling up of 200 (Two hundred) number of posts of
Veterinary Field Assistant and its allied cadre posts under the Directorate of Animal Husbandry and
Veterinary, Assam, Chenikuthi, Guwahati-03:-

| A Candidate should not be less than 18 years as on 01/01/2026 and not more than 40
years of age as on 01/01/2026 as per Govt. Office Memorandum No. ABP.6/2016/51 dated
2nd September 2020. The upper age limit is relaxable for the candidates of reserved
categories as per existing provision. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3
years for OBC/MOBC, 10 years for PwBD and 2 years for Ex-serviceman candidates. . |

Salary & Allowances
| Pay Band-2 of Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- + Grade Pay of Rs. 6,200/- plus
other allowances as admissible from time to time. |

Selection Process
For selection of qualified candidates for recruitment to the
entry level cadre of Veterinary Field Assistant or its equivalent post, an OMR based written test
of 120 minutes duration shall be conducted for 100 marks against 100 questions of Class 12
standard in various subject
