ENGAGEMENT OF ACT APPRENTICES UNDER APPRENTICES ACT 1961 NOTIFICATION-01/2026
ONLINE applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement as
Apprentices for imparting training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in the designated trades at
various Divisions/Workshops/Units in the jurisdiction of Southern Railway. Candidates residing in
the following locations/areas falling within the Geographical Jurisdiction of Southern Railway alone are eligible to apply:-

Age
| The candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should NOT have
completed 22/24 years for Freshers/Ex-ITI, MLT respectively. The Upper age is relaxable upto 3 years for OBC-(NCL), 5 years for SC/ST
candidates and 10 Years for Person with Benchmark Disability (PwBD). Age relaxation is applicable in several categories according to rule of govt. |
