Selection Process
Selection Procedure for Technical Assistant:-
- The candidates fulfilling all necessary eligibility criteria as recommended by the Screening Committee
duly constituted by the Director, CSIR-NEERI, will be invited for Trade Test in the relevant Area/discipline (Qualifying in nature).
- Those who qualify in the Trade Test will be invited for a competitive written examination. There will be
three papers (Paper-I, Paper-II & Paper-III) in the competitive written examination. Paper-1 is qualifying in nature.
- The Second and Third paper (i.e. Paper-II & III) will be evaluated only for those candidates who secure
the minimum threshold marks (to be determined by the Selection Committee) in the first paper (Paper-I)
- The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the Performance of the candidates in the competitive written examination in Paper-II & III.
- Date, venue and other details of the trade test will be notified separately.

| Online Application will be available on http://career.neeri.res.in or www.neeri.res.in The deadlines for
the above-mentioned stages of application are mentioned in the first page of this advertisement. Open
from 16.09.2026 (10:00 a.m. onwards) and Closes on 15.10.2026 (till 05:00 p.m.). Candidates should
keep a copy of the application print-out and payment details, if any, just after successful submission of
the online application for their record. Facility for Print-out of Application and payment details will not
be available after 05.00 p.m. on 15.10.2026
