Recruitment of Assistant Security Officer post
BMRCL invites applications for Assistant Security Officer post from Serving or retired
personnel from Indian Army/ Navy/ Indian Air force/ Karnataka State Police dept./ CAPF/CRPF/BSF/CISF
and other allied equivalent services for Operation & Maintenance Wing of BMRCL to look after security and other
related works in Metro Stations and Depots. All appointments proposed will be on “contract basis” only:-

Mode of Application
Selection Process
- PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST (PFT):
Candidates shall be required to complete a 1.5 km run within 10 min upto 11.30 min.
as per their age group. Early finishers will be awarded additional points.
Candidates shall bring a Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a Government Hospital
for appearing in the Physical Fitness Test.
Only candidates who qualify in the Physical Fitness Test shall be permitted to appear
for the Written Test.
- WRITTEN TEST:
1. The Written Test shall be conducted after the Physical Fitness Test.
2. The Written Test shall be of one-hour duration and shall be conducted in
Kannada/English language.
3. The Written Test shall comprise Essay Writing and General Knowledge.

- Candidates are required to read the complete notification carefully and satisfy
themselves regarding the eligibility criteria, age limit and other conditions before applying.
- Candidates shall visit the BMRCL website – www.bmrc.co.in → Careers and access the
relevant recruitment notification.
- Candidates shall select the post applied for and enter all the required details in the
online application form.
- After submitting the online application, candidates shall save and print the computer-
generated application form.
- The candidate shall affix a recent passport-size photograph on the printed application form and send the same along
with self-attested copies of the required supporting documents to the address specified by BMRCL.
