Graduate &Technician (Diploma) as following for a period of one year under provisions of the Apprentice Act-

Mode of Application
Selection Process
- Selection will be made on the basis of Written Test/ Personal Interview/ Both for shortlisted candidates only.
- ITR reserves the right to adopt its own method of short-listing and is NOT obliged to shortlist all the candidates who fulfill the minimum
requirement. Mere fulfillment of requirements as laid down in the advertisement does not qualify a candidate to be selected.
- withdraw/cancel the advertisement / selection process, if circumstances so warranted without assigning any reason thereof.
- Reservations will be applied as per the provisions of The Apprentices 1961 and Apprentice Rules 1992 as amended from time to time.
- Canvassing / influencing in any form shall lead to disqualification of the candidate. Suppression of facts will
lead to disqualification at any stage of the selection process.

Application Process
- Applications are invited from the eligible candidates in the prescribed form given as annexure-"A" (form in
.docx is also available at website www.drdo.gov.in). The typed application along with the self-attested
photocopies of documents (all educational mark sheets, Certificates (10th, 12th, Diploma,
B.Tech/BBA/B.Com), Caste Certificate & Identity Proof) should reach to the “The Director, Integrated
Test Range (ITR), Chandipur, Balasore, Odisha-756025” on or before 02nd November 2026 by Speed
Post / Registered Post Only.
- The application form should be typewritten. Handwritten Application except signature will not be accepted.
- The sealed envelope containing the application form and other documents should super-scribed as
“Application for Apprenticeship Training: Category ………& Subject/Discipline…………”
- All information regarding Written Test/Interview, Call letters, etc. shall be provided through website/Email
only. No hardcopy mailing of Written Test/Interview Call letters shall be done by ITR. Responsibility of
receiving, downloading and printing of Admit Card / Call Letter shall be that of the candidate.
- Candidates should keep a copy of the application for their record.
- Applicants are advised to keep a watch on the above website/personal email for any updates / changes.
- PwBD candidates are eligible ONLY for the designated trades as per Apprenticeship Rules 1992.
- The marks obtained in the qualifying exam are to be mandatorily mentioned in percentage. In case of CGPA, candidates are requested to
convert the CGPA into percentage as per their university norms and the same may verified during document verification.
