invited from lndian citizens for direct recruitment to fill vacancies of constables
(except for the vacancies against the sports quota, which shall be filled separately) in
the District and Armed cadre of Punjab Police.:-

Selection Process
Applications must only be submitted in the online mode on
https://iu r. ls/pu nia bpolicerecruitment2026 . Cand idates wou ld be first req u ired
to fill a registration form followed by the Application Form, which in turn would be
linked to the fee payment gateway.
Candidates for the District Cadre shall be required to fill in 15 district preferences
to which the candidate would want to be allocated in case of final selection.
District allocation would be made on the basis of merit position in Merit List and
the availability of vacancies in the preferred District. As per Punjab Govt.
lnstructions No. 6/7512AL9-7H31L745 dated 2L.O5.202O, selected candidate shal!
not be posted in their home district.
=> Stage-1: Stage-l will consist of two common Computer Based Test (CBT), multiple Choice Question (MCa)type Paperviz. Paper-l and Paper-ll, of which Paper-ll shall be
qualifying in nature.
=> Stage-2: Stage-ll will consist of Physical Screening Test (PST) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT). Both Physical Screening Test and Physical Measurement Test
shall be qualifying in nature.
=> Stage-3: Stage-lll will consist of Document Scrutiny
